MT-Propeller has received an STC for its 5-blade natural composite propeller on the Cessna 206.

According to company officials, the STC, which covers 206s powered by the propeller turbines PT6A conversion, features:

The natural composite blades “provide significant inside and outside noise reduction,” company officials add. “They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD.”

MT-Propeller manufactures 30 certified propeller models. It holds more than 220 STCs worldwide and is a supplier for more than 90% of the European aircraft industry as well as 30% of the US aircraft industry. More than 28,000 propeller systems with more than 90,000 blades are in service, according to company officials.
